This privacy policy describes how Brisk collects, uses, and protects your information.

Data Collection

We collect the following types of information:

  1. Account Information: Brisk creates an anonymous account for you automatically. We use your iCloud account to recover your goals on a new device, without any sign in.
  2. Goal Data: We collect the goals you create, including their targets, dates, and settings.
  3. Workout Data: With your permission, Brisk reads your workout data from Apple Health to measure progress against your goals. This data is read only. We never write to Apple Health.
  4. Device Information: We may collect basic information about your device, such as its type and operating system.

Use of Data

We use the collected data to:

  1. Provide and maintain the app’s functionality.
  2. Measure your progress against your goals.
  3. Sync and recover your goals across your devices.
  4. Improve the app’s performance and your experience.
  5. Respond to your questions and provide support.

Apple Health

Brisk reads workout data from Apple Health only to track progress toward the goals you set. This data stays on your device and our secure cloud platform and is never sold or shared. You can revoke Brisk’s access to Apple Health at any time in the Health app.

Data Protection

We are committed to keeping your data secure. We store your data on Firebase, a secure cloud platform with industry standard encryption. Access is limited to what is necessary to operate the app.

Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as necessary:

  1. Account and Goal Data: Retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete a goal, it is removed from our systems immediately.
  2. Device Information: Retained only for as long as necessary to operate and improve the app.

Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with any third parties, except as required by law or with your explicit consent.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes to the privacy policy will be posted on this page.
